I am really bad at FPS games and didn't find the reflex sight that easy to use at first so I picked steady aim, to be honest if you have the strenght to take the perk, it does improve the hip fire accuracy making the whole aiming thing easier and faster, but if you are low on strenght itnis .
Steady Aim didn't reduce the size of the box, but it DID reduce the amount of recoil when holding down the fire button - it was much easier to stay on a target with this Perk. Get it. If you're more the hip-fire type, you can avoid even having to aim your weapon by maximizing Commando and going with the Steady Aim (Strength 7) Perk.Steady Aim Perk Fallout 4.
